The Filipino American Symphony Orchestra (FASO) invites young vocalists to participate in the 2025 FASO Vocal Festival, taking place at The Colburn School on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at 3:30pm. This is an exciting opportunity to perform on a professional stage, receive expert feedback, and join a community of passionate young singers.

How to Apply
Complete the online application form (below).
Submit a video of a past vocal performance (at home or at an event) - The song selection is entirely up to you!
Application Deadline: April 25, 2025 – All applications and videos will be reviewed, and accepted applicants will receive an official invitation to perform at the festival.
Application/Registration Fee: $20 (non-refundable) – This fee helps cover venue costs.
Automatic Acceptance – Students and alumni of the FASO Education Vocal Program are guaranteed a spot, provided they complete registration.
Eligibility Requirements
To participate, you must meet at least one of the following criteria:
✅ Currently enrolled in Grades 3 to 12 or College during the 2024-25 school year
✅ Participated in a FASO Vocal Workshop within the past year
✅ Featured as a solo artist in a past FASO concert
✅ Previously invited or participated in a past FASO Vocal Festival
Video Submission Guidelines
Quality Matters – Ensure good audio and video clarity.
Recent Recording – The video must have been recorded within the past year.
Performance Length – Minimum 2 minutes.
No Pitch Correction – Use of auto-tune or pitch-altering software is strictly prohibited.
Moderate Use of Reverb Allowed – Light reverb is acceptable, but excessive effects should be avoided.
