The Filipino American Symphony Orchestra strives to be as transparent as possible about how it uses personal information you share with us. By interacting with our website, you agree to this policy.

Information Types & Uses


Consensually Collected Information: Some applications on our site may require users to enter personal information to make a purchase, enroll in our classes, sign up for auditions, or to join on our email lists. 


If you would like to request the deletion of your personal information, you may do so by filling out and submitting our Contact Us form. If you would like to opt out of a mailing list, you may do so by tapping the “Unsubscribe” button found at the bottom of any of our email newsletters.


Automatically Collected Information: Some applications on our websites invoke cookies. These (inedible)  identifiers allow our systems to recognize your browser, track online transactions and prevent you having to re-enter information. 
You can always turn off cookies in your browser settings, but we recommend leaving them on for a more personalized experience on our site.


Use of Information: We never share information acquired with third parties, except in the following circumstances:

a. To provide a customer-authorized service, or to maintain a customer’s account.

b. To comply with authorities who have jurisdiction over FASO.

c. To prevent fraud and unauthorized transactions.

All FASO employees, past and present, are prohibited from sharing personal information of any person or entity outside of FASO, except under the circumstances described above.

Our site has implemented security to protect information under our control. Our secure server software (SSL) encrypts your personal information.

Based upon where you live, you may have certain choices and rights pertaining to your personal information.

    If you’re an EEA resident, you can challenge any automated decision we make about you. Most requests are provided for free. However, a fee may be applied to cover administrative costs incurred for unfounded requests.
